As well as teaching I work on my own designs, combining machine and hand techniques.The design process is key to the success of my work. I attend workshops and exhibitions to keep my design knowledge up to date.

My influences come from organic structures.I like layering with textured fabrics then embellishing with hand and machine stitching with a variety of threads.
